Some real estate agents who use dotloop, the transaction management platform owned by Zillow Group, will now be able to avoid re-entering the same information as often, potentially freeing them up to spend more time helping clients.

Through “dotloop Connect,” dotloop is integrating with a range of real estate tech tools covering everything from lead generation and reputation management to accounting and payment processing.

Dotloop Connect underlines Zillow Group’s ongoing effort to weave itself into the fabric of the real estate tech ecosystem. It’s the third software integration platform that Zillow has made available to technology providers. And it comes on the heels of an acquisition and product launch that support connectivity between MLSs and software vendors.

“Real estate professionals are often using multiple types of technology solutions that may or may not overlap,” said Austin Allison, founder and general manager of dotloop.

“Dotloop Connect helps solve for that complicated problem by bringing in some of the most used technology solutions in real estate and integrating them with our end-to-end solution.”

Dotloop Connect lets real estate professionals “streamline their use of partner companies’ products by transferring their information from dotloop, improving their productivity and efficiency,” Zillow said in a statement.

For example, dotloop Connect’s integration with Inside Real Estate — a provider of lead generation, contact management and transaction reporting software — lets Phoenix-based Show Appeal Realty see its “sales funnel from lead capture to closing,” said Chris Adams, vice president of marketing and operations at Show Appeal Realty, in a statement.

This means the firm can now “accurately evaluate our marketing efforts and identify our highest converting lead sources,” he said.

Companies with products that plug into dotloop Connect include:

  • AccountTech
  • Emphasys Software
  • Inside Real Estate
  • LanTrax
  • Loft47
  • LoneWolf
  • SocialSurvey

Companies planning integrations with dotloop Connect include:

  • BombBomb
  • BoomTown
  • BostonLogic
  • Brytecore
  • MoxiWorks
  • Real Estate Webmasters
  • Realvolve
  • Tribus

Zillow Group operates two other platforms that allow real estate software providers to synchronize with Zillow products, both of which fall under the Zillow Tech Connect program.

“Zillow Tech Connect: Leads” allows technology companies to create a more seamless experience for the brokers and agents who use Zillow for their marketing efforts.

And “Zillow Tech Connect: Reviews” lets agents display Zillow reviews on their websites.

Other moves by Zillow Group that have thrust the company deeper into the real estate tech software space include its acquisition of listing management software provider Bridge Interactive Group and its debut of Retsly Connect, a platform that can simplify connectivity between tech vendors and multiple listing services (MLSs).

Zillow Group’s offerings could “muddy the waters” for Upstream, a broker-backed data management and distribution platform, by offering an MLS-centric alternative, Upstream CEO Alex Lange recently told Inman.
