DreamCommerce, which makes mobile apps aimed at helping agents communicate with clients and prospects during the home shopping process, has released an agent-branded e-postcard tool that allows agents to showcase features of a home using multiple listing service photos.

When agents come across an image that strikes them as noteworthy, they can use the DreamCards feature of the agent-facing DreamCommerce app, DreamPro, to write some text over the full-screen image and send it to clients.

The app will send messages to prospects they’ve already signed up on DreamCommerce, their email contacts, or their “mobile farm” — the community of consumers they’ve signed up on the DreamCommerce system.

The premium version of the DreamPro app will soon allow users to share DreamCards on Facebook and Twitter, said David Ragones, co-founder and CEO of DreamCommerce.

Consumers using the free DreamHouse app (formerly “DreamScore”) will see the DreamCard open full screen on their devices. DreamHouse app users can touch images with links that will take them to the listing or initiate contact with the agent that sent them the card by phone, text or email.

“DreamCards allow agents to send a personalized message with a beautiful listing photo to clients, leads, or their mobile farm in only a few taps on their smartphone or tablet,” said Gary Gold, co-founder of DreamCommerce, in a statement.

DreamCommerce currently integrates with about 100 multiple listing services (MLSs), and the DreamPro app is available for Apple iOS devices via the new Clareity Store and the Spark Platform. Android versions of DreamCommerce’s apps are scheduled to be released later this summer.

The agent and consumer apps are free to download. However, DreamPro, which includes a free version, works on a subscription model and is subject to setup and integration fees MLSs and brokerages may charge.

The free version of the DreamPro app gives an agent 25 free DreamCards. For $15 a month, the DreamPro “Social Plus” edition gives agents a custom referral code they can give consumers to brand the DreamHouse app and 25 DreamCards. For $25 a month, the “Hero” edition provides the same capabilities for 50 DreamCards a month.

Ragones said “hundreds” of agents and “thousands” of consumers use DreamCommerce apps.
