Peggy Hill, an agent and leader of Keller Williams’ Peggy Hill Team in Barrie, Ontario, is moving all 31 of her sales representatives and staff to RE/MAX Hallmark Realty. It is currently the top Keller Williams team in Canada and the fourth highest Keller Williams team in the world by sales volume.

The top Keller Williams agent team in Canada just announced that it is moving over to RE/MAX Hallmark Realty.

Peggy Hill, an agent and leader of Keller Williams’ Peggy Hill Team in Barrie, Ontario, is moving all 31 of her sales representatives and staff to RE/MAX Hallmark Realty. They are currently the top Keller Williams team in Canada and the fourth highest Keller Williams team in the world by sales volume.

The new office will be located at Barrie’s 374 Huronia road. The team will continue to focus on home sales in the part of southeastern Ontario surrounding Barrie — the small city is approximately a 90-minute drive from Toronto.

“Peggy and her team of agents are the perfect example of the type of professionalism and knowledge that a RE/MAX agent can bring to the table,” Christopher Alexander, executive vice president of RE/MAX of Ontario-Atlantic Canada, said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to working with her and the RE/MAX Hallmark team to continue to grow RE/MAX’s market share in the Canada and specifically, their local market in Barrie-Simcoe region.”

The move is part of RE/MAX’s larger push to expand its real estate services within Canada. This is mirrored by most major real estate companies — last fall, Zillow started publishing Canadian listings on its site and Redfin recently launched in the country as well.

Hill has been in sales and marketing for the last sixteen years and will, according to her, use the move to grow its real estate reach within Barrie. A Keller Williams representative told Inman that they had no comment to make on the news of her move.

“Ultimately, it was the reputation of RE/MAX Hallmark, along with the brand that led me to make this decision and I am so pleased to join the RE/MAX Hallmark team in Ontario,” said Hill in a prepared statement.
